Samuel Lesser died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Borgens, 14 miles northeast of Ritzville. For the past 17 years he has been a resident of Adams County. Funeral at the County Line Church, conducted by Rev. K. K. Meyers and burial was in the cemetery nearby. Survived by four children, Mrs. Mary Borgens, Conrad of Ritzville, Henry and Jacob Lesser in the East, 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. ref: Journal Times 17 Jan 17 1924
