Mother Katherine Heimbigner (born & died Russia) WDR

Funeral services for Mary Dorothy Heimbigners, 85, who died last Thusday at her home, were conducted Monday at the Danekas and Duncan funeral home chapel with the Rev. D. K. Schmidt of Walla Walla and the Rev. Raymond Griffith of Cheney officiating. Burial was in Ritzville Memorial cemetery.

Mrs. Borgen, nee Lesser, was born Oct. 5, 1869 in Frank Russia. She was married to Henry Borgens, Sr., in 1890 and in 1899 the family came t the United States, settling at Lincoln Nebraska. They moved to Adams county in 1900, homesteading near Ritzville. There they lived until 1928 when they moved to town.

Survivors include her husband, Henry; two daughters, Miss Amelia Borgens and Miss Rachel Borgens, both of Ritzville and three sons, George, Henry and Johathan, all of Ritzville. Also surviving are a brother, Henry Lesser of Loveland, Colorado; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
