Ann Abel Taylor 1928 ~ 2006

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend returned to her Heavenly Father, June 8, 2006.

She was surrounded by a loving family.

Ann was born December 16, 1928, to George Edward Abel and Moneta Almo Jolley.

She married her eternal companion, William Fredrick Taylor, January 24, 1948.

She was an active member of the LDS church, where she served in various positions.

Ann was a dedicated employee for Hotel Utah for almost 30 years.

She loved to crochet and made many beautiful afghans which she shared with family and friends.

She loved jigsaw puzzles and spent hours putting them together.

She was always there to help anyone in need.

Ann is survived by her children, Sandra Spiva, Kyle (Ramona), Dortha, William, Bert (Deon), Kevin and was grandma to many.

She is also survived by a brother, Kent Abel and sisters, Joyce Christensen and Jewel Turner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Eddus Hyde and sons-in law Robert J. Meik and Charlie L. Spiva.

There will be a viewing at Mountain View Memorial 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, Sunday, June 11, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at the Westlake LDS Ward, 3175 South 3450 West, West Valley City, Utah, on Monday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. where friends may call one hour prior to services.

Interment, Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah
