Alice Mable Johnson Yeisley , 81, Ava, formerly of Sparta, died at 12:28 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 8, 1994 in St. Johns Regional Health Center.
She was born Feb 6, 1913 in Pasco, Washington. the daughter of John W. and Lizzie May Smith Dobbs. She lived most of her life in the Sparta community where she worked as officed manager for the telephone company. She enjoyed sewing as a hobby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Clifford Johnson and Claude Yeisley, in 1969, two sisters, Myrtle Moss and Georgia Gardner, and a brother Chalmer Dobbs.
Survivors include two brothers, John Dobbs , Ava, and Charlie Dobbs ,Dayton, Washington.
Graveside services were held Thursday, November 10, in Sparta Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Smith officiating under the direction of Harris , A Heritage Funeral Home ,Ozark.
