Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Deepwater with burial in the Lowry City Cemetery, Lowry City, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church of Deepwater or Hospice Compassus, Osceola and may be left at the funeral home. Ruth was born in Humansville, Missouri. She was a dental assistant for fifteen years. She lived in Muscoutah, Illinois for 36 years before moving to Deepwater in l996. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Mascoutah, Illinois and a member of the First Baptist Church of Deepwater, Missouri.
She is survived by her children, James Brack and wife, Linda of Deepwater, Missouri, Forest Wayne Groff and wife, Marie of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, James Allen Groff and wife, Joan of Clinton, Missouri, David Lee Groff and wife, Nancy of Muscoutah, Illinois and Peggy Sue Hills and husband, Fred of Osceola, Missouri; one brother, David Walden of Clinton, Missouri; one sister, Lois Akers of Arma, Kansas; thirteen grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
