Warren F. Bakstran of Ocala formerly of Worcester, MA. died Saturday Nov. 7th in Ocala Medical Center. He leaves his wife of 66 years, Sarah R. (Stark) Bakstran; a daughter, Donna S. Martin and her husband, William P. Martin of Ocala, FL.; two brothers, Kenneth H. Bakstran and Ronald D. Bakstran of Worcester, MA., two grandsons Timothy W.P. Martin of North Brookfield and Keith E. Martin of Barre, five great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Ann (Bakstran) Burke.

Warren was born in Worcester, MA. son of Fulton L. Bakstran and Evelyn (Warren) Bakstran. Warren was a veteran of World War II, 4th Marine Division. He was hoping to be the last survivor of Iwo Jima.

A graveside service was held on Friday, November 13th at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, MA. directed arrangements.
