Ronald D. Bakstran, 76, of Worcester, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Millbury Healthcare Center after an illness.
He leaves a brother, Kenneth H. Bakstran of Worcester, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Beverly A. Burke and his brother Warren Bakstran.
He was born in Worcester, son of Fulton and Evelyn (Warren) Bakstran. He lived in Calif. and Ariz. for many years before returning to Worcester.
Ron was proud to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 to 1958.
He was a bus operator for many years with the Worcester Regional Transit Authority, before retiring.
Funeral services were private. Burial was in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
