Doing the research for proof I find them in the 1860 Census for Moreau, Morgan Co Mo on line 1117 John Ratcliff 72 years born NC owned 2000/3470, Julia A 45 years old Born KY. This makes them 28 years apart. His first wife Mary died in 1852 so he must have married between 1852 and 1860.Missouri State census shows Julia living in McDonald County Twp. 23 Range 33 in 1876. She is over 68 years old. There must be a Missouri Marriage certificate somewhere.
