Ruth Yuvonne Lewis of Lizton died Nov. 24. She was 74. Born Dec. 14, 1928, in Cincinnati, she was a daughter of Robert and Helen (Bateman) Lewis. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and had volunteered at her children's schools when they were students.
She was a member of St. Augustine's Church in Danville. She had enjoyed quilting, working with stained glass, gardening and painting.
Survivors include her husband, William Lewis; daughters, Rebecca Myer of Monticello and Pat Willis of Lebanon; a son, Dick Lewis of Peru; a brother, Charles Lewis of Lizton; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service was held. Alpha Funeral Services in Indianapolis handled arrangements.
