Martha (Holloway) Blakeley's name and dates appear on this Holloway memorial marker placed in this cemetery. This person is not buried at Peatown Cemetery. The purpose of this marker was a memorial to the family members buried nearby at the old Christian Union Cemetery in the white section that is now overgrown and markers gone. The African-American section is now known as Post Oak Union Cemetery and is well maintained.

According to "David Holloway (1783-1856) of North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas and His Descendants" by Nancy Blakeley Ruff (1989), Martha was the daughter of David Holloway and Mary Hardigree. She married John Blakeley.
