Margaret Elzetta Adams Edmunds
BENNION – Mrs. Margaret Elzetta Adams Edmunds, 82, 2271 W 6200 South, died Thursday [December 27] at 6:40 p.m. of causes incident to age in a West Jordan rest home.
A daughter of Joshua and Mary [Bath]Gates Adams. She was born May 8, 1869 in American Fork. She was married to Hyrum Edmunds Feb. 2, 1890 in American Fork.
Mrs. Edmunds was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had been a resident of Bennion since 1910.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Florence Sandberg, Mrs. Katherine Mills and Mrs. Vera Norberg, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Margaret Atwood, Burbank, Cal.; two sisters, Sister Susan Adams Lewis, American Fork and Beulah Adams Robinson, Lehi, 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in Bennion LDS Ward Chapel by Seymour Godfrey, bishop. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
Members of the family may call Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. at 4762 S. State and friends may call at the chapel Monday from noon to time of services.
