BEATRICE "VIRGINIA" BEECHER PILLING, 80, of Tunkhannock, PA, formerly of southwest Phila., passed away on March 29, 2013 at Tyler Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA. Beloved wife of 45 years to the late Joseph W. Pilling, Sr. Loving mother of Joseph W. Pilling, Jr. (Regina) of Drexel Hill, Daniel Pilling (Christina) of Phila., Richard Pilling (Lori) of Phila. and Laura Alfieri (Richard) of Tunkhannock, PA. Also survived by seven grand-children, three great grand-children, one brother Henry W. Beecher, Jr. and sister-in-law, Iva. Virginia was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, music, and reading. Her great passion was her garden. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to Ginny's Life Celebration Friday 7-9 P.M. and Saturday, April 6, 2013, 8:30-9:30 A.M. at SPENCER T. VIDEON OF DREXEL HILL, Garrett Rd & Shadeland Ave. Followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. at St Bernadette's R.C. Church, 1053 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. In lieu of flowers contributions in Virginia's memory may be made to Catholic Social Services.
