Jesse was a retired mechanic, logger and saw mill worker. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Allen and Edith Evaline Barkman and two brothers, Willie Stanmore Cooper and George Thomas Cooper, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of over thirty years, Alma Paralee Bradshaw Cooper; three sons, Jesse Leroy Cooper, Jr.; Jimmy Toliver Cooper and Joseph Patrick Cooper; three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Hensley, Robin Lee Cogburn, Cynthia Darlene Trujillo; one brother, James Troy Cooper; three sisters Laura Irene Adams, Ruby Dell Wilson, Doris Evelyn Marie Barker; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Copeland Ridge Cemetery.
