Obit.—Lester Earl Merritt, 6-weeks-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Merritt, died at the home of his parents, 1701 West Twenty-sixth avenue at 11:55 o’clock Saturday night after a brief illness.
The baby is survived by his parents; four brothers, Billie, James, Carl, and Frank Merritt; three sisters, Lenora, Elmyra and Lucile Merritt; grandparents, Mrs. Mary E. Merritt, Pine Bluff, and Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Word, Kingsland.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Fitzhugh cemetery in charge of the Rev. Charles W. Finch. Burial was in the Fitzhugh cemetery in charge of the Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary.
