Mrs. Rhodes was Born November 20, 1927, in Pine Bluff, a Daughter of the late William Daniel and Elmyra Word Merritt.
Mrs. Rhodes was Reared and Received her Education in Pine Bluff, Graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1946.
She was a Lifelong Resident of Pine Bluff and a very Faithful Member of the Oak Park Church of the Nazarene.
She was Preceded in Death by her Husband, Harry Dean “Dusty” Rhodes, whom she Married February 25, 1950, in Hot Springs; Four Brothers, William Edward Merritt, James Irvin Merritt, Lester Earl Merritt and Carl Alvin Merritt; and One Granddaughter, Myra Bridges.
Survivors include Two Sons, Harry D. Rhodes and Wife, Dian, of Rison; Dr. Warren K. Rhodes and Wife, Myra, of Brandon, MS; Two Daughters, Dana G. Bridges and Husband, Roger, of Sheridan; Darla S. Dunemn and Husband, Ken, of Greers Ferry; Brother, Frank Merritt and Wife, Sue, of Pine Bluff; Two Sisters, Lenora Roberson of Hot Springs; and Lucille Clay and Husband, Marvin; of Jonesboro; Four Granddaughters; Five Grandsons; Four Great Granddaughters; and Four Great Grandsons.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors with Reverend Pam Estes Officiating.
Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery near Rison.
The Family will Receive Friends at Robinson’s One Hour Prior to the Service.
