Mrs. Hannah E. Massey

HOLTON-- Mrs. Hannah Eliazbeth Gideon Massey, 90, Holton, died Friday at a Holton Hospital.

She was born January 27, 1892, at Adrian, the daughter of Thomas H. and Helen M.Spear Gideon. She spent her early years in the Emmett community, moved to Holton in 1909, to Salina in 1914, tp Topeka in the 1940s and returned to Holton in 1970.

Mrs Massey worked at the U.S. Postal Department and Selective Service at Salina. She later was a sales clerk at Palace Clothing Store and Pelletiar's Store, both at Topeka.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a 50-year and life member of Harmony Chapter No. 2 of the Order of Eastern Star at Salian.

She married Guy F. Massey February 28, 1973 at Holton. He surives.

Other survivors include is sister, Mrs. Maude Woodworth, 3115 Westover Road, Topeka; and a brother, Lloyd Gideon, 5832 N.W. 25th, Topeka.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial will be in Holton Cemetey.

Her date of death was June 25, 1982.
