Born September 7, 1908 in Meadow, Utah to Samuel and Dora Jane Littlewood Ames. Married Arda Johansen, January 19, 1934 in Vernal. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A farmer and carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and being in the mountains.
Survived by wife, of Altonah; daughters, son: Anna Fae Wirthlin, Sandy; Leo and wife, Shirley Ames, Altonah; Paula Dee Bartholomew, West Valley; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, brother, sister: Clint Ames, Altonah; Zella Foote, Salt Lake. Preceded in death by brothers, Ruben, and Glen, sister, Zina Keller.
Funeral services, Tuesday, 12 noon, Lake Fork Chapel, where friends may call 10-11:30. Burial, Altonah Cemetery. Directors, Hullinger-Olpin Mortuary, Roosevelt.
