Lena married Robert Milton Ash June 26, 1891 in Wise County, Texas.

They had the following children: Infant Daughter, Guy Albert, Vernon Luther, Alva Paul, Gordon and Laura Ash.

SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. LENA ASH

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, June 6, in the First Methodist Church for Mrs. Lena Ash, 86, who passed away June 4 in a Fort Worth hospital following a heart attack two days before.
Rev. Raymond Corrigan, Rev. W.S. Fisher and Rev. Jack Oglesby conducted the services with interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery.

A native of Mississippi, she was four years old when her family moved to Johnson county, where they lived a short time fefore coming to Wise County.

It was in Wise county that she was reared, attended school and was married to R.M. Ash in 1891. Her husband preceded her in death in 1942, and her oldest son, Guy Ash, passed on in 1959.

Mrs. Ash and daughter, Laura maintained their home in Decatur until 1946 when they moved to Fort Worth where they were living at the time of her death.

She is survived by one daughter, Miss Laura Ash of Fort Worth; three sons, Vernon of Brenham, Paul of Decatur, and Gordon of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. John Price of Decatur; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Charles Harding of San Antonio, Aubrey Deaton, Bill Cates, Thad Belew, Charlie Price, Walter Rhine of Decatur.
