Services for Claude W. Alexander, age 84, of Decatur were Tuesday at Coker Funeral Chapel in Decatur. The Rev. Ed Miller officiated. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jack, Andy, Jim and Alex Sears, Joe Bill Smith, Rick Paschall, and Kenneth and Kenny Alexander.
The retired painter, born March 5, 1900 in Decatur, died Sunday, Dec. 16 at a Decatur hospital. He was a member of the Wise County Sheriff's Posse.
Survivors include: sisters Elizabeth Beall of Decatur and Winnie Sears of Irving; and several nephews and nieces.
