Survivors at time of death included two sisters, Jo Ann Speck, Waxahachie and Lawanda Baugus, Midlothian and one brother, Rev. Bill Gathings, Sanger, Texas.
Joyce was preceded in death by husbands, Joe Vern Pearson and Earl Simms Odom, sons, Jerry Dewayne Pearson and Steven Wendell Odom, sisters, Lola Marie Washburn, Dorothy Irene Baker and brother, James Allen Gathings, Jr.
