Graveside service for Vera Esteline Stroud, 82, of Aurora was Saturday, May 19, at Aurora Cemetery. Rev. Lee Roy Jackson officiated.
Stroud died Thursday, May 17, 2001 in Decatur.
Born Aug. 12, 1918 in Aurora, she was a homemaker and a member of the Aurora Baptist Church. Her sister, Junellia Kemp Bowers, preceded her in death.
She is survived by one brother, James Stroud of Fort Worth; two sisters, Edith Mae Brown and Naomi Stroud Ward, both of Rhome; a nephew, Billy Kemp of Boyd; and a niece, Marylou Shaw of Rhome.
