Vallora was the mother of Violet Hazel Chick, K. C. Chick, and Ruby Chick. Unfortunately, Vallora lost her son K. C. Chick on July 11, 1925 and her daughter Ruby Chick on July 19, 1925 from a plague that occurred in Port Arthur that year. Vallora, her husband John, and their oldest daughter Violet Hazel were also stricken with the plague, but survived. Unfortunately, her husband John died 15 years later from Pellagra.
Vallora then married James Demontra Saulsberry in 1941 in Jefferson County, Texas. There were no children born to this marriage.
