Mrs. Alice E. Tulley, 77, died Sunday morning, September 12, at her home at Potters Corners south of the village. She had been ill for the past three weeks.

Mrs. Tulley was born in the town of Vienna May 22, 1860, daughter of the late Zenith and Sarah Ann Totten Wheeler. She married George E. Tulley at Oneida Castle August 6, 1884.

Mrs. Tulley had lived in Rome and Fort Plain for the past twenty nine years. She had made her home on the farm in the town of Turin.

She was a member of the Turin Methodist Episcopal Church and the first vice president of the silas and Hannah Cook Wheeler Reunion.

She is survived by four children, Mrs. Nettie A. Healt of Constableville, G. S. Tulley of Rome and Mrs. Eugene Bassett and William T. Tulley, both of Turin and who made their home on the farm with their mother. She is also survived by one brother, E. M. Wheeler of W. Eaton, NY, fourteen grand children and one great grandson.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept 15, at her residence. Burial was made in the Rathbunville Cemetery, Oneida county.
