Dorothy Meserve

Dorothy "Dot" Meserve, 84, of Winnett, died Wednesday evening, April 19, 2000, at the Roundup Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home where she had resided the past six weeks.
Dot was born on January 4, 1916, at Heath to Frank and Katherine (Kennedy) Jackson. She attended school at Lewiston.
On July 17, 1933, she was united in marriage to Cosby E. "Coty" Meserve in Lewiston. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1992.
After their marriage, they moved to the Musselshell River and continued to ranch in the Winnett area until retiring in 1970. They then moved into Winnett. Dot enjoyed needlework, gardening and cooking.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Bill and Mary Meserve of Winnett; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by one brother, Francis "Bud" Jackson of Dillon; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, Mable "Patty" Mullin and two brothers, Richard "Dick" Jackson and Ernest Kennedy.
Graveside services were held at the Winnett Cemetery on Saturday, April 22.
Memorials are suggested to the Roundup Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home or to the charity of donor's choice.
The Creel Funeral Home of Lewiston is in charge of arrangements.
