OBITUARY UDELL FIELDING KEARL

ROY – Udell Fielding Kearl, 86 died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 of causes incident to age. He was born May 3, 1923 in Laketown, Utah, the son of David Jasper Kearl and Mary Zenora Jones. He married Fern P Anderson on June 18, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple after a very spiritual courtship.
Udy was loved by everyone who knew him. He served in many church callings including 2 Bishoprics, High Council, Temple Officiator with his wife Fern for nearly 10 years and as Stake Patriarch for 24 years.
In Udy's words the things he enjoyed most were time spent in church callings and with his wife Fern and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Udy is survived by his wife Fern and his 7 children Linda Harding, West Point; Jeannie (Ron) Olsen, Perry; Rick (Debbi) Kearl, Ogden Canyon; Karen( Richard) Lovell, Oak City; Rod (Dawn) Kearl, Holladay; Denise (Kevin) Okey, Harrisville; Leisa (Scott) Forsberg, Mountain Green; 29 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren 2 brothers and 1 sister- in- law, C Rosslyn (Jeanne) Kearl, Kaysville and David J Kearl, Bountiful.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters-in-law, D Randall and Freda Kearl; Theo J and Helen Kearl; Golden R. Kearl; Lois (David) Kearl; and one grandson, David Mackey (Linda). Grandson Raymond Lovell, 25, (Karen) also died on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from a long illness. Grandpa was there to escort him home.
To the Child and Kearl families: In lieu of flowers for Udell, please consider helping our sister Karen with funeral expenses for Raymond.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. LDS Roy South Stake Center, 5725 S. 3750 W. Roy, Utah.
Friends may call at Myers Mortuary in Roy, Sunday, November 1, from 6 – 8 p.m. and at the Roy South Stake Center at 9:30 a.m. prior to the funeral.
Interment Roy City Cemetery.
