Guy Norris Parmenter attended Cotner College, Lincoln, Nebraska and received a law degree from Creighton University in Omaha in 1913. He was licensed to practice law in Nebraska in 1913 and in Oregon in 1914. After practicing law in Wahoo, he was elected County Judge of Saunders Country in 1918 and served in that position until 1932. He then resumed his law practice in Wahoo until his death in 1934. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Grand Chancellor in 1926 and 1927.
