Frank Alston Driggs, 58, of 1421 East 3045 South St., died Monday evening in a Salt Lake hospital of coronary occlusion.
Mr. Driggs was born April 17, 1891, in Salt Lake City, the son of Apollos G. and Elizabeth Alston Driggs. He lived in Garland, Box Elder County for 23 years. He was married to Genevieve Huish in Nephi, Nov. 2, 1909.
Before moving to Salt Lake City in 1944, Mr. Driggs owned an operated the Blue Bell Confectioners. He was a member of the Garland Lions Club.
He was a maintenance man for Stevenson's Café, 131 West Second South St. at the time of his death.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Mr. Driggs was active in the Aaronic Priesthood in the Cummings Ward.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Keith Driggs, Salt Lake City, and Jack R. Driggs, Ogden; two brothers, Bert and Earl Driggs, Salt Lake City; a half-brother, M. P. Driggs, San Diego, Calif.; five half-sisters, Mrs. May Taylor and Edna Driggs, Driggs, Ida.; Mrs. Hattie Driggs Young, Mrs. Ruby Gardner and Mrs. Ella Nielson, all of Salt Lake City, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at place of funeral Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from noon to time of funeral.
Burial will be in Salt Lake City Cemetery.
