Highland Recorder June 18, 1943

Mrs. Dolly C. Puffenbarger died at her home at Palo Alto June 13 at 3:55 a. m. She was 65 years old and spent all her life at Palo Alto. She was a member of the Brethren church for 42 years. She was married twice, her first husband James M. Botkin died 35 years ago; her second husband George Puffenbarger preceded her in death six years ago. She is survived by two sons and two daughters to the first union, Lonnie, Henry J., Mrs. J. W. Crummett and Mrs. W. L. Grant. One son and one daughter by the second union, Sgt. Clyde R. Puffenbarger of Ft. Belvoir, and Meda M. at home. One sister Mrs. Sandy of Bridgewater and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the home Tuesday at two o’clock by Rev Carl Zigler. Burial was in the Botkin cemetery.
