B.C. Mendell, long-time Superior resident and a well known monument dealer here, for nearly 50 years, passed away Tuesday night about 9:40 o'clock. He was 73. Mr. Mendell sold his business here several months ago, and has been ill with a serious heart ailment most of the time since then.
Born at Tecumseh, Mr. Mendell came to Hardy in the early nineties and after a few years residence there moved to Superior. Surviving are his wife, the former Josephine Day, and one sister, Mrs. Youngsman of Oregon.
Funeral services will be held at the Priest Chapel at 11 a.m., Friday, and interment will be at Evergreen. -- Superior Express.
