Mary C. (Shea) Gazdzicki, 89, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Frank M. Gazdzicki, and mother of the late Frances Vermette and Joseph R. Gazdzicki, passed away on Wednesday (October 28, 2009).
Mary was born in Manchester on April 23, 1920, daughter of the late Daniel and Nora (Young) Shea and had resided for most of her life in East Hartford and Glastonbury.
Prior to retiring, she worked in Costumer Service for the King's Department Store, West Hartford for many years. She enjoyed being with her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Gazdzicki is survived by her loving family, Joan Cole of Maine; Sharon Laundria of Manchester; Mary Floridia and her husband, Vincent of Manchester; Gary Gazdzicki and his wife, Sharon of Manchester; Jacqueline M. Romano of Waterbury; Robert B. Gazdzicki of Texas; Frank M. (Skip) Gazdzicki, Jr., of Colchester; sisters, Ruth Derr and her husband, Ray of Glastonbury; Noreen Rudek and her husband, Eddy of Harwinton; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Mary was also predeceased by two brothers, Daniel and Paul and a sister, Lucille.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bridget Church 80 Main Street Manchester.
Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
