She died at her home in Glen Elder May 10, 1903 after a sickness of six days with pneumonia. She told her children not to try to keep her here as she had spent a lonely two years since the death of her husband and was ready to go to her home above. Adaline Elder, who lives north of town and could not attend the funeral on account of high water, is her eldest child. Eli D. Flint, of Chicago, who also could not be present, is the second child. Mrs. Jennie Watson, of Glen Elder, was the third child and Mrs. Maria Day was her youngest living child. Mrs. Watson and Mrs. Day were present at the funeral.
Mrs. Flint was converted at an early age and was a worthy and active member of the M. E. church up to the time of her death. The funeral services were held, at the M. E. church by Rev. H. H. Bowen, Monday afternoon, May 11, and the remains laid to rest beside her husband in Glen Elder cemetary.

Dearest Mother, she has left us,
And her loss we deeply feel.
But "tis God who has bereft us;
He can all our sorrows heal.

Obituary from People's Sentinel:
Roxina Blunt was born in Monroe, Wisconsin, June 3 1837. Died in Glen Elder, Kansas, May 10, 1903, at 7"30 a. m. agged 65 years 11 months 7 days. She was married to Mr. Wm. Flint at Charles City, Iowa, February 12, 1854 to which place her father's family had previously moved. They were the first couple to be married in that county. In 1869 they moved to Lawrence county, Missouri, and from there to Mitchell county, Kansas, 1878 and bought a farm on the Limestone creek on the Jewell county line. In 1883 they moved to Glen Elder where they both lived until their death. Her husband died two years to the day before she was taken ill which was May 4, 1901. The deceased was converted when a young woman at Charles City, Iowa, and united with the Christian church. However when they moved to Missouri she united with the Methodist Episcopal church with her husband, and after coming to Kansas they continued to be working members in the Methodist church in these regions; first at Maple Grove and after moving to town they became prominent factors in the church here and so remained until taken to their reward. To their union six children were born, three boys and three girls; two boys died in infancy and the remaining son, Eli, is a resident of Chicago, Illinois. The three daughters are residents of this community, Mrs. Addie Elder, Mrs. Maria Day and Mrs. E. J. Watson. She leaves behind her twenty-two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Most sorrowful of all is the aged mother, Mrs. Kelley, now 91 years old, who had depended upon the strong arm of her daughter for support in her last feeble days on earth. It is very fortunate for her that she has been left to the care of kind and thoughtful relatives who will lovingly care for her. The cause of Mrs. Flint's death was double pheumonia in a very severe and persistent form from the first. Though a very great sufferer she had no complaint to make. She made arrangements for the care of her aged mother thoughtfully and carefully and as though it was a common occurence. From the first of her sickness she said she would die and gave no encouragement to any one of her recovery. The funeral services were held from the Methodist church in this city, Monday May 11, 1903. Rev. M. J. Mumford, the pastor, being absent from the charge, Rev. H. H. Bowen, pastor of Beloit circuit, formerly pastor here was called to conduct the funeral. The sermon was from 1 Cor. 15-55 after which the remains were laid to rest in the city cemetery beside her husband.
