Graveside service for Lora Mae Jennings Fetty, 98, of Bridgeport was Friday, Feb. 22, at East Bridgeport Cemetery. The Rev, Gary Demmitt officiated.
Fetty died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, in Bridgeport.
Born June 8, 1903, in West Texas, she came to Bridgeport at an early age to attend school. At 17, she moved to Fort Worth where she worked as a sales clerk at Margo's LaMode and The Fair. She married Clarence Fetty in 1948 in Centralia, Ill. The couple moved back to Bridgeport in the early 1970s.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three sisters, Ruth Jennings Largent, Margaret Jennings Liles and Vera Jennings Armes; and four brothers, Melvin Jennings, Alvin "Pat" Jennings, Wessley "Mike" Jennings and Wilson Jennings.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
