Flossie Moore, 74, of Mooresville, died Monday night, June 9, 1986 at University Hosptial. She was born Dec 21, 1911 in Marion County, a daughter of the late James and Doshia Bane. Survivors include five sons, Ted Reese of Terra Alta, John Moore, Jr, Charles R. Moore and Billy M. Moore, all of Core, and Donald E. Moore of Wadestown,
five daughters, Lula Cutlip of Fairview, Thelma Jean Milliron and Ruby A. Ammons, both of Core, Carolyn Delaney of Mt. Storm and Linda G. Barr of Fairview, three brothers, Raymond "Buck" Walker, and Carl Bane both of Fairview, and Archie Bane of Core, 29 grandchildren, 28 great grand children and two step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Moore on Dec 18, 1984 and two grandchildren. Friends may call at Owen Funeral home in Blacksville from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Wednesday. Services will be at 1 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home with evangelist Earl P. Stevens officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery. (clipping Sylvia Sine Whittaker)
