Charles married Lille Belle Taylor about 1895 had 10 known daughters; Anna C Buske, Carrie Louise Mitchell, Ella M West, Mary A Brickner, Lena May Hanks, Bessie Augusta Sexton, Florence P Buske, Winnie Viola Hanks, Bertha M Hanks and Cecelia Buske. Daughters names from the 1900 and 1910 census and research, unable to date (Aug 2018) to find 1920 census on any of this Buske family.

Summary
Charles J. Buske, an esteemed citizen of Broadwater, died Monday afternoon at his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Mitchell. His illness started about three years ago, becoming alarming about two weeks before the fatal hour. He had been on the street greeting friends a few days before the announcement of his death.
Carl Julius Buske was born in Norenberg, Germany, December 22, 1858, and departed this life February 2, 1931, age 72 years, 1 month, 10 days.
He came to the United State in 1880, locating at Ford River, MI, working as a day laborer until 1887, came west a landed in Garden County. He sold out in 1917 and moved to Hay Springs, where he brought a farm until 1924, when in poor health he sold and moved to Broadwater.
He was a hard-working man, a conscientious citizen, honest in all of his dealings. During his residence in this and other communities he had accumulated a wide acquaintance and bore the esteem and respect of many.
He was baptized in the Lutheran church and kept the faith of that church. He married Lillie Bell Taler in 1895, 10 children born, seven still living. They are: Mrs. Prince Walin of Chadron, Mrs. Ralph Mitchell of Broadwater, Mrs. Ralph Brickner of Hay Springs, Mrs. Frank West of Broadwater, Mrs. William Hanks of Crawford, Mrs. George Sexton of Hay Springs, Mrs. DeWite Hanks of Crawford.
Funeral services were held at his home in Broadwater, Wednesday, body was taken to Evergreen Cemetery north of Lisco. He was buried in the family plot there, where the body of his wife lies. Rev. W. M. Daubenspeck, Lutheran pastor of Oshkosh, was in charge.
