EDNA FRANCES BAILEY THROWER

LAFAYETTE, AL -- Edna Frances Bailey Thrower, 75, of LaFayette died Sunday, 12 Jul 1998 at her residence. Graveside services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, 14 Jul 1998 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev Jim Abbott officiating.

Mrs. Thrower was born in Chambers County, AL on 22 Dec 1922, daughter of the late Bessie Lou Lashley Bailey and George Dewey Bailey, Sr. She had retired from West Point Pepperell's Shawmut Mill after 43 years of service with the company. She was a member of Plant City Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Riser Sanders, LaFayette, AL; one grandson and wife, Christopher R. and Robin C. Sanders, LaFayette, AL; one granddaughter, Resa Sanders Malik, Atlanta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Malik and Yasmeen Malik, both of Atlanta, GA; one brother, George Dewey Bailey, Jr., Huntsville, AL; three sisters, Thelma Virginia Fuller, Roanoke, AL; Nellie Royster, Wadley, AL; and Jewell Geneva Earles, Valley, AL.

Arrangements were by Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, AL.
