Word has been received at Auburn by Mr. and Mrs. Charles kemper that their son Carl Kemper, a graduate of the Placer Union High School and of the University of Nevada, who recently returned from France after several months of service with the army, was drowned in a accident at Reno. He went to Nevada a short time ago to accept a position with the State Highway Commission.
