Joshua Casebeer, formerly a resident of Junction City for a number of years, died in Albany September 4, after a short sickness. Mr. Casebeer lived in Junction City for several years, at one time doing duty as chief of police, and for a while he was the proprietor of the Junction City hotel. He had many friends in this city all of whom were greatly shocked at the news of his death. He was 74 years, 8 months and 7 days old. The funeral services were held this afternoon at the Methodist church by the Rev. Jos. Knotts at 1 p.m., interment taking place in the Odd Fellows' cemetery.
