Clint Young, 56, of Wirt County, WV, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2005 at his residence.
He was born March 30, 1949 in his beloved West Virginia, the youngest son of the late Roy and Helen Young. Clint was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served for 2 years with honor and was awarded the Bronze Star. He remained active in and supportive of veteran causes throughout his life. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and football.
Clint is survived by his three children, Traci (Warren) Wakefield of Mechanicsville, VA, Jessica (Timothy) Evans of Mt Vernon, OH, and Erik Young, of Kent, OH; his four siblings, Jean (Martin)Johnson, of Rock Creek OH, Sandy (Jim)Tuggle, of Cleveland, OH, Ruth Ann Kelly, of FL and Bill (Cathy)Young, of Fl; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first daughter, Melissa Young.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Matheny Pomeroy Funeral Home, Elizabeth. A graveside service will be at St Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery on Dutch Ridge Road.
