Carrie "Polly" McFee, 68, of Route 2, Parkersburg, died Monday afternoon in Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of Freda Givens Wandless and the late William Wandless. She was a member of the Sunrise Church of Christ and a former member of the Dry Run Farm Womens Club. She attended the Romney School for the Blind.
She is also survived by her husband, Carl McFee, a son, James McFee of Reynoldsville, Harrison County; 2 daughters, Janet Sutton of Parkersburg and Freda "Liz" Daugherty of Mineral Wells; a brother, William S Wandless of Parkersburg; 4 sisters, Virgie Callihan of Parkersburg, Freda "Bea" Poyet of Belpre, OH, Ada Caponigro of Kissimmee, FL, and Betty Beckett of Clinton, OH; 6 grandchildren, Duane Sutton Jr, Jennifer Boley, Lisa Ann Sutton, James McFee Jr, Nathan McFee, and Lisa Marie Daugherty; and 1 great grandchid, Sarah Sutton.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Leavitt Funeral Home with the Rev Virgil Sallee and Evangelist David Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery
