Age 52, died on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at home. He was born in Ann Arbor, MI, to John and Jean (Schroen) Kwiatkowski. He married Stephanie (Riopelle) Dean and together they had six children, Stacey, James II and Joshua Kwiatkowski, Scott Riopelle, Shaun Dean, Sarah (Christopher) Biggs and their son Tyler. He is also survived by his parents; sister, Janet (Larry) Shock; and brother John. James was a loving father and caregiver. He was a member of the Milan Free Methodist Church and a devout Christian. Jim and Stephanie were loyal employees at GM Powertrain of Ypsilanti for over 32 years. Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Sunday from 4-8pm and Monday 2-8pm. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday at the Milan Free Methodist Church on Arkona Rd., Milan with Pastor Jeffery Ford officiating. Entombment will follow at the Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.
