She was born March 10, 1920, in Westport, the daughter of the late Jenny Talbot.
Margaret graduated from Westport Central School. She worked at and retired from Horace Nye Nursing Home in Elizabethtown. In her leisure time, Margaret enjoyed gardening, caring for her grandchildren and visiting with family and friends.
Her survivors include her daughter, Midge Anson of Tupper Lake; three sons and their wives, Randall and Alice Anson of Kingston, Gary and Susan Anson of Westport and Bruce and Paula Anson of Westport. She is survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Ronnie Anson.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009, at W.M. Marvin's Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
