"Mrs. Charles Popp, 60, died at her home on the Vassar road. Mrs. Popp, whose maiden name was CAROLINE Gross, was born November 14, 1870, in Saginaw and was married here in 1890. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A. Gross, Mrs. William Martindale and Mrs. C. Scherping, three sons, Louis of Grand Haven and Carl and George of Saginaw, one sister Louis Gross of Saginaw, one brother Frederick Popp of Bridgeport, and 13 grandchildren."
(COMMENT ON OBITUARY: her sister was Agusta, Mrs. Frederick Popp, and her brother was Louis Gross, contrary to above obituary.)
