84 Year Old Saddler Dies.

Well known Littlestown man succumbs to ills due to great age.

George W. Steffy, 84, one of the oldest and best-known citizens of Littlestown, died at the home of his sister, Miss Margaret Steffy, Littlestown, this morning at 1:12 o'clock from the infirmities of his great age. If he had lived until Washington's birthday anniversary he would have celebrated his own 85th anniversary.

His wife preceeded him in death January 31, 1921.

He was a saddler by trade and followed it during his lifetime.

He was a son of Martin and Mary Steffy, Littlestown, and was a life-long member of the St. Aloysius Catholic church in Littlestown.

He is survived by the following children. Joseph H. Steffy, Boston: Francis X. Steffy, Providence, Rhode Island, and Sister M. Eleanor, Quakertown. Four grandchildren also survive.

The following brothers and sisters also survive: David Franklin Steffy, Philadelphia: John M. Steffy, Baltimore and Miss Steffy, Littlestown.

Solemn high mass will be sung Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the St. Aloysius church the Rev. Father E. O'Flynn officiating. Interment in St. Aloysius church cemetery at Littlestown.
