-- FORT MILL - Mr. William Marion Dawkins, 65, of 102 Laurel Circle died Friday, March 6, 1998, at the Bowman-Gray Baptist Hospital Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Clay Waldrop officiating.
Born in Chester, Mr. Dawkins was employed as a technician in the pest control industry. He was also a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Jewel P. Dakins; three sons, W.M. "Butch" Dawkins Jr. of Denver, N.C., Alan "Del" Dawkins of Gastonia, N.C., and Benjamin Dawkins of Fort Mill; two daughters, Karey D. "Gussy" Warren of Newton, N.C., and Ann Ford of Fort Mill; his brother, Harold Dawkins of Rock Hill; his sister, Jean Wright of Chester; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Wright's Home for Funerals.
