Lincoln L. Archer

Lincoln L. Archer, 81, of 302 57th Street, Vienna, died Tuesday (January 24, 1995) at The Willows, Parkersburg, after an extended illness.

Archer was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was retirned from O. Ames Co., where he worked as a machinist. He was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Parkersburg.

He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Lincoln H. and Ora Plate Archer.

He is survivied by his wife, Theresa Watson Archer; one son, Donald Archer of Santa Cruz, Calif.; one brother, Blair Archer of Vienna; one sister, Erma Snodgrass of Belmont; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Leonard Gene Archer; three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with the Rev. Rob McVicar officating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
