David E. Masterson
David E. Masterson, 59, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1991 at John Pershing Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born May 3, 1932 in Sedalia, the son of John and Clara Gens Masterson.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Masterson, Cape Girardeau; five sons, three daughters, one brother, three sisters, 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Two sisters preceded him in death.
He moved to Cape Girardeau from Mountain View and has worked for Kelly Transportation for 30 years. He also did maintenance and construction work for Landmark Company.
He was a member of the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW. He was also of the Baptist faith.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. J.C. Mattox officiating.
Burial will follow at Lorimier Cemetery with a graveside service by the VFW.
