---Herbert O. Perry, 60, died at his home in Bryan, Ohio, Wednesday morning, March 2 [1960] of a heart attack.
---He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Surviving are his wife of the home, one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Leah) Fritz of Davenport, Ia., one son, Herbert L. Perry of Mt. Vernon, Ill., one step-son, Larry Gatlin of New York City, five grandchildren, an aunt, Mrs. Ora Bonifield of Elmer, and several cousins.
---Funeral services were held at the Oberlin-Ford Funeral Chapel with Rev. Karl Reich in charge. The body was brought to Elmer Saturday morning and services were conducted at the Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. D. A. Drake.
---Songs were given by a sextet, composed of Mrs. Sadie Johnson, Mrs. Lora Smith, Mrs. Pauline Ralson, Miss Mildred Ralston, Mrs. Naomi Bailey and Mrs. Bonnie Haley accompanied by Mrs. D. A. Drake at the piano.
---Pall bearers were Bob Allen, Herman Spencer, Beryl Thurman, Hubert Thurman, Ernest Bailey and B. A. Mock.
---Burial was in the Elmer Cemetery under the direction of the Oberlin-Ford Home for Funerals of Bryan, Ohio.
