Edward A. Hipsher, 81, died 8:46 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at his residence near Veedersburg.
He was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Marshfield, Indiana, the son of Ira and Louise Routzan Hipsher. He married Doris K. Kiser June 26, 1948, in Williamsport, Indiana. She survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Larry Hipsher, Veedersburg, and Mike Hipsher, Pittsboro, Indiana; a sister, Martha Simpson, Crawfordsville, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Karen Gee (husband, Bob), Covington; a grandson, Todd Hipsher, Louisville, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Maxine Bryant and Betty Galvin.
