HAZEL S. BACON 89, formerly of 55 E. Fifth Street, London, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, July 29, in Madison Elms Nursing Home, London.
She was born October 12, 1893, in Trenton, Kentucky, a daughter of George and Belle (Pace) Stack.
She was preceded in death by her husband, P.E. Bacon and a son, Richard, in 1976 .
Survivors include three sons, Philip E. Bacon, Huntsville, Al., Dr. William T. Bacon, London, Ohio and John A. Bacon, Columbus; two daughters, Mary B. Alexander and Mrs. Edward (Anne) Travis, both of Atlanta, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. C.D. Crouch, Trenton, Kentucky; a nephew, T.M. Page, Merritt Island, Florida.
Friends may call at the Geer-Eberle Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church, London, with Dr. Dean Marston officiating.
