Mr. James Flurry, age 77, of Vancleave, Miss., died Thursday, Dec 23, 2004, in Biloxi, Miss. Mr. Flurry was a native of Vancleave and worked with the Moss Point papermill for 42 years. He retired as a supervisor in 1986 with 40 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Flurry was a member of Community of Christ Church in Vancleave.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Jennings Flurry; two sons, Jim Flurry and wife Susan, and Bill Flurry, all of Vancleave; a special friend, Sharon Tootle of Memphis, Tenn., five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am Monday, Dec 27, 2004, with an 11 am chapel service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Community of Christ Cemetery in Vancleave.
